Q. How do I join CDC?
A. At this time we are not going to be adding new members to The Corps. When we have a need to add to our roster, we hold auditions. Auditions are announced through our social media so make sure you're following us to catch any announcements. Thank you very much for your interest, we hope you'll join us at one of our open rehearsals or upcoming workshops.
Q. How do I book CDC?
A. We’re happy to hear your booking request and meet to discuss how we can help with your performance needs. If you are interested in booking The Corps for your next event please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. What is Special Ops?
A. When we have special performances that the entire team cannot attend, or that we do not have a lot of time to prepare for we send in our Special Ops squad. Special Ops will have a wide range of themes, and can include different members for different performances. Special Ops squad performances will be posted on our regular social media pages so you don't miss a single one.
Q. How can I support CDC?
A. There are many ways that you can support The Corps, including buying our merchandise, coming to our fundraisers and open rehearsals, attending our performances and following us on social media. We are also on Patreon and have a great community of Patrons who have access to exclusive content as thanks for their patronage.
Q. Will you be recording your performance at [event]/When will your video of [event] performance be uploaded?
A. We do our best to record all of our performances however there are circumstances where we are not allowed or able to record. When we do record our performances, we upload them within a week of the performance date. If you subscribe to our youtube channel you will never miss a recorded performance from The Corps.
Q. Will you do another livechat?
A. At this time our livechats are exclusively for our Patreon patrons. Patrons have exclusive access to our Patron only Facebook Group where we host our livechats on a monthly basis.
Q. Are you going to be selling more merchandise?
A. Yes, our online store is updated to include official Corps merchandise. Patreon patrons receive a special discount in our store.
Q. Are going to perform at [convention] in [location]?
A. Our team is based in Southern California, specifically the Los Angeles area. Our wonderful dancers volunteer their time to do these performances and we are so grateful for that. As such though, we do not currently have the necessary funds to travel and perform in areas outside the Los Angeles area. In the future, we do have plans to perform at other venues outside of Southern California, and when we do, we will be sure to let everyone know on social media when it happens!
Q. One of your videos is down, will it be back up soon?
A. Sometimes we run into copyright issues with youtube and other social media platforms. We're doing our best to work with copyright holders to make sure you can see our videos! If you see a video is down, we can guarantee we're working on it. Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates!
Q. Can you give me contact information for a member of The Corps?
A. In order to protect the privacy of our members we will not be giving out individuals contact information. We hope you can respect our performers privacy. You are more than welcome to tag our social media accounts in any posts you would like to dedicate to a members of The Corps and our social media squad will make sure they get the message. Thank you!
Q. Can you do a piece to a specific song for me?
A. Choreography comes from our directors and a variety of dancers in the corps. When we build a set we try to choose songs that will match our theme or add to the story we are telling. With this in mind, we cannot take song requests for pieces. We encourage you to create your own dance to a song that moves you, and to try new things whenever the notion to create comes into your head.
